To enter a space is to start a story. We live our lives between interiors and exteriors, often failing to notice the space between. Much of our habits are formed around gestures of interaction with objects arranged within a certain logic- doors, windows, desks, cabinets, mirrors- all of them forming a unique constellation of our spatial presence.

However, the tangibility of these objects is only one side of the story of space. We like to think about it also through the vocabulary of absences and lacunas, through light and air that fill the interspace of stillness and movement. Furnishing an interior is much more than deciding about individual pieces to fit our corners or choosing wall colors. It is inviting specific objects to enter our daily routines, our mornings and holidays, to affect our moods and emotions, and interact with us in the subtlest ways. Furnishing is cohabiting.

Cosrau begins as a cluster – a platform for expressing ideas about how we shape the space and how it affects us; how we transform the material into immaterial and vice versa.  It rests on the holistic principle of acknowledging the interconnection between different fields of aesthetic inquiries that are inherent to interior design – art history, architecture, sculpture, contemporary art, theatre, graphic design, photography and others. With curatorial approach in shaping individual spaces we devote our knowledge and experience to uncovering peculiar tastes and highlighting personal visions. We believe in emancipated design, the one that freely moves across different times and geographies in order to present the most unique facets of individual cultures through contemporary designs.
